Augusta, ME - Car vs Truck Crash w/Injuries on I-95 at MM 109
Augusta, ME (October 8, 2024) – Maine State Police troopers, along with the Maine Turnpike Authority, said both lanes on the northbound side of Interstate 95 in Augusta are back open after a crash shut down that part of the highway on Monday, October 7. Officials said the crash happened at mile marker 109 on the northbound side of the highway.
Maine State Police troopers added that a car struck a truck hauling a camper, which rolled over as a result of the crash. Video of the crash scene recorded at about 10:00 a.m. shows the camper rolled onto its side near Exit 109 on I-95 northbound. No further details were released, however, and it's unclear how many were hurt in the incident. An investigation is still ongoing in the interim, and witnesses were asked to step forward as soon as possible.
