Augusta, ME – Hunter Davis Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Belfast & Lambert Aves
Augusta, ME (June 18, 2024) – An investigation is underway after a victim was killed in a crash overnight in Augusta, and officers have since released further details. Hunter Davis, 21, of Augusta, was riding a motorcycle east on North Belfast Avenue at about 8:45 a.m. when a 77-year-old Augusta man turned onto the road from Lambert Avenue, according to officials.
Davis was airlifted to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Chevrolet’s driver was taken to Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, where he was treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, the newspaper reported. Officers said the crash remains under investigation, with assistance from an accident reconstruction specialist from the York Police Department.
