Truck Accidents in Maine

Truck accidents are generally far riskier and more complex than typical vehicle or motorcycle crashes. Large trucks such as commercial autos, some city vehicles, semis, 18-wheelers, tractors-trailers, big rigs, and others can weigh as much as 80,000 pounds. Of course, in the event of an accident or collision involving one of these huge vehicles, a truck traveling at a high speed can cause irreparable harm and major injuries or even fatalities.

All too frequently, the primary concerns regarding truck accidents are higher fatality rates, much more expensive property damage, and excruciatingly painful injuries. Unfortunately, because most trucking companies are aware of the inherent dangers involved in trucking, they hire prominent legal teams to shield themselves from liability for damages.
