Hollis, ME – Troy Tanguay Identified in Fatal Crash on Cape Rd

Hollis, ME (July 11, 2024) – A 51-year-old man died after a collision on Cape Road in Hollis on Tuesday evening, around 5:30 p.m., and authorities have since identified the victim.

Officers reported that a Subaru Impreza, operated by a 28-year-old woman from Saco, entered an oncoming lane to turn when she was involved in a crash with a Dodge Ram, operated by a 60-year-old man from Lyman. The driver of a Dodge Ram was unable to stop in time, according to the police. A 51-year-old male, who was a passenger in a Subaru Impreza, passed away at the site. Officers identified him as Troy Tanguay from Saco. However, the incident is still under investigation, and authorities have not released any other details at this time.
