Levant, ME - Four Hospitalized in Two-Car Crash on Horseback Rd

Levant, ME (December 13, 2024) – Authorities say three adults and a child were injured in a serious crash in Levant Friday afternoon.

The two-vehicle crash happened on Horseback Road around 2:30 p.m. State Police say a 23-year-old woman was traveling southbound and collided with a vehicle traveling northbound driven by a 54-year-old man. They say the man was seriously injured in the crash and is in critical condition at a Bangor hospital.

In the meantime, the crash is under investigation and is being reconstructed by Levant PD, though speed is believed to have been a factor, according to police. In the interim, witnesses were asked to contact local authorities.
