Old Orchard Beach, ME (October 16, 2024) – Maine State Police troopers are investigating, along with the Old Orchard Beach Police Department, following one man's death and another man being hospitalized in critical condition after they were hit by a train on Wednesday morning.

Officers added that the incident involved four men who were sitting on the platform before the train came through, though two other men who were near the tracks were not injured.
