Raymond, ME - Victims Identified in Deadly Collision on Egypt Rd near Gray
Raymond, ME (November 2, 2024) – Three people are dead following a crash that shut down both sides of Egypt Road for hours near the Gray-Raymond line on October 30, according to authorities, who have since identified the victims.
Officials with the Raymond Fire & Rescue Department said a pickup truck that was traveling in the direction of Gray collided with a vehicle that was heading in the opposite direction. The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said that based on witness statements and evidence at the crash scene, a black 2021 Nissan Frontier truck was operating erratically before the collision, crossed the center line, and struck a blue 2021 Subaru Crosstrek head-on.
The driver of the truck, 56-year-old Gregory Logue of Windham, was killed in the crash. The two people who were in the Subaru, Arthur Harmon and Tamara Harmon, both 80-year-old Raymond residents, also died as a result of the crash. The crash was under investigation, but information about any other injured victims or pending citations was unavailable. That said, no further details were released in the interim, and the inquiry remains ongoing.
We offer our sincere condolences to the deceased victims' family members.
Deadly Vehicle Collisions in Maine
Sometimes, severe injuries resulting from motor vehicle collisions can be fatal. Tragically, this is the case. Although nothing can replace the loss of a family member's loved one in a car accident, families can seek justice and hold the negligent driver accountable by taking legal action.
The costs associated with a loved one's illness and passing are typically determined by maintaining a record of invoices and demonstrating payment. However, loss of support claims is more complex: the assessment of such a loss is contingent upon the amount that a deceased loved one was expected to contribute to the household in the future.
Moreover, this quantity will be influenced by the professional and employment history of your loved one, the age of your loved one at the time of their passing, as well as factors such as the presence of a spouse, employment status, and dependent offspring, determine the number of dependents your loved one leaves behind.
