Standish, ME – Man Dead in Semi-Truck Crash on Rte 114/Richville at Johnson Rd

Standish, ME (May 26, 2024) – Local police reported that a Sebago man lost his life in a collision that took place in Standish on Saturday night, May 25, and officers are searching for witnesses as the cause of the crash remains under inquiry.
At about 9:55 p.m., officers say a 53-year-old man driving a vehicle was killed after being involved in an apparent truck accident on a local highway. The man was in his 2008 Toyota Tundra while traveling on Route 114, also known as Richville Road, close to Johnson Road, when the accident occurred. According to Chief Deputy Brian Pellerin of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
