As emergency crews were on their way, they were told that one of the vehicles involved was on fire and someone was trapped inside. At least two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and one person was taken to a nearby medical center, according to deputies, but it’s unclear how many people total were involved. However, an investigation is still ongoing.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones.

Injury Vehicle Crashes in Maine

At least two or more drivers are often involved in car crashes, particularly on busy roadways like I-95 and I-295, which connect the various locales and busy metropolises that span Maine. Unfortunately, the severity and complexity of post-accident issues—such as obtaining compensation in a personal injury claim—generally increases with the number of drivers involved in a given collision. For example, each driver in an accident involving several vehicles often has their own set of unique injuries or issues after the crash, such as their likely different insurance company and adjuster.

Various kinds of injuries that need specific types of treatment or medical attention occur, driving up the exorbitant costs of care for injured victims. Regardless of the details surrounding your crash, if you were hurt in an accident and it wasn’t your fault, you need to get in touch with a knowledgeable lawyer as soon as possible to get the justice and money you deserve.
