Waterboro, ME – One Hospitalized in Vehicle Collision on Townhouse Rd

Waterboro, ME (June 23, 2024) – According to local authorities in Waterboro, a vehicle collision took place early Saturday morning, leading to a handful of injuries and temporary power outages.

The York County Sheriff's Office says just after midnight, the incident took place on Townhouse Road, and one of the drivers involved hit a utility pole following the incident. One victim was brought to Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, though their current condition is unknown.  Townhouse Road was closed Saturday morning while crews worked to repair the utility pole. The road has since re-opened, and power has been restored. However, an investigation is still ongoing, and officers with the Waterboro Police Department asked witnesses to come forward as soon as possible.
