Bangor, ME - Mark Michaud Identified in Deadly Accident on I-95 near Fairfield

Bangor, ME (January 2, 2025) – Maine State Police troopers say a pedestrian was killed when he was hit by a tractor-trailer on an I-95 off-ramp over the weekend, and officers have now identified the victim of the incident.

Officials say that Mark Michaud, 49, of Fairfield, died at the scene of the crash. The truck driverwas unhurt. Initially, the Bangor Regional Communications Center received a 911 call reporting that a tractor-trailer unit had struck a pedestrian at mile marker 132 southbound near Fairfield.
